*Everyone wakes up in a large blue elevator-like room. A short man with a long nose sits on a blue sofa, with a round blue table in front of him. By his side are three people dressed in blue, two women and one man. All three have silver hair and yellow eyes. The long-nosed man speaks*



"Welcome to the Velvet Room. My name is Igor. Some of you have already met me, in a room much like this."

*One of the women speaks*

"I am Elizabeth, and these are my siblings, Margaret and Theodore. We are the attendants of the Velvet Room."

Igor: "Several of you have already faced great trials in your lives. The rest of you are just now awakening to your potential."

Margaret: "Whatever your situation was prior to this meeting, your fates are now intertwined."

Elizabeth: "A great catastrophe is falling upon your world. Only you have the ability to stop it."

Theodore: "You must seek out the two locations only visible to those with the potential: Tartarus, and the Midnight Channel."

Igor: "Your fates are interesting, indeed. We will be watching from this room, hidden between the dream and reality, lending our support."

Elizabeth: "Very soon, you will all meet in person. Get to know each other. Let your bonds of friendship be your strength."

Margaret: "Your powers will carve through darkness and light the way to the truth."

Theodore: "Your strength will be a beacon of hope for those without hope."

Igor: "I look forward to seeing you all again. Until next time..."

*Everyone falls asleep again, and wakes up in their respective houses. That very same day, the students of Yasogami High visit Iwatodai, the town where Gekkoukan High is situated. By pure chance, everyone meets at Naganaki Shrine, not far from the Iwatodai Dorms*

An alicorn is, simply put, a winged unicorn. The term 'alicorn' was not widely used until a certain cartoon popularized the term. Before then, winged unicorns were called "pegacorns" or "unipegasi."

As a Persona, Alicorn has no combat skills. Instead, it knows a variety of support skills.

"Sounds like we all had the same dream."

"Ugh, I thought we were getting away from the weird stuff for a while. Don't tell me you Gekkoukan kids go into the Midnight Channel, too."

"Midnight Channel? Never heard of it."

"Then... What do you use your Personas for?"

*Minato checks his watch and smirks*

"You'll see soon. Ten seconds to midnight, everyone."

*When the time hits exactly midnight, the moon's light turns green*

"Welcome to the Dark Hour, ladies and gentlemen."

*He takes out his phone and shows that it doesn't work*

"You see, time stops every night at midnight here in Iwatodai. Electronics don't work, and people transform into coffins. Not us, though. Those of us with Persona stay awake and aware during the Dark Hour."

"Weird..."

*Yona suddenly gasps*

"I'm sensing something! Three things, moving fast towards us! They're... Shadows!"

"Shadows!? But... How? I thought they couldn't leave the Midnight Channel!"

"There are Shadows in that Midnight Channel place, too? I thought they only showed up in Tartarus..."

*shakes his head*

"Oh, never mind that! We can get everything sorted out once the Dark Hour's over! Better get ready for battle, everyone!"

*He draws a sharp shortsword*

"Heh. Good thing I always keep Smithy with me."

*Draws a S&W Model 500 revolver*

*cracks his knuckles*

"I'm always ready for battle!"

*takes out her knife, then looks around*

"I think we're the only ones that can fight right now. No one else has a weapon."

"I will escort everyone else to the dorms. We have a weapon cache there."

*Aigis leads everyone to the dorms, leaving behind Minato, Moku, Maxwell, Karito, and Yona*

"Brace yourselves, everyone! They're coming!"

*The Shadows round the corner and attack!*

<Two Cowardly Mayas and a Magic Hand attack!>

"They don't seem too strong, but don't drop your guard!"

<It's Minato's turn>

"It's been a while since I've had to fight. Orpheus has been dying to let loose."

*Minato takes out a silver handgun, similar to a Ruger Mk. III*

"Now, don't panic, Yaso-kids. I'm gonna do something that seems crazy."

*He puts the gun to his head*

"Don't try this at home, kids! ORPHEUS!"

*He pulls the trigger, and the gun recoils. Blue mist rises from Minato's head, and Orpheus emerges from the mist*

"Go wild!"

<Orpheus uses Heat Wave>

<Cowardly Maya B dodges the attack!>

<Cowardly Maya A and Magic Hand are hit!>

"W-what the hell?! You summon your Persona... by shooting yourself?!"

"No time to explain right now! Worry about that later!"

"You're right. We need to focus on taking these Shadows out!"

<It's Moku's turn>

*A wicked grin spreads across Moku's face*

"I've always wondered... Do Shadows feel pain? Can I make them scream in agony...?"

*She draws her own silver gun and holds it to her chin*

"It's too bad they always die before I can find out."

*She pulls the trigger and summons Alice in the same way as Minato summoned Orpheus*

"Embrace the void, creatures of nothing."

<Alice casts Mamudoon>
