"Indeed, the golden flame is a power technique and only certain fire types can use it. But it doesn't matter now I have seen and it was insightful to the future of all of you but Akumu your future is filled with something to dark to be spoken of"
-has seem to vanish from the area-

*akumu shakes in fear and mumbles*
"Myton... just what are you up to"

-is at my dojo training and working hard-

" Hmph the future is dark and what awaits us all is not something to be unprepared for"

-Uses bulk up and close combat on a steel training post dummy leaving dents and then I would kick it out of the kick high in the air and extend my palm towards it gathering solar energy-

"solar beam"

-I would release the energy as a great flash would happen in the sky and the steel training dummy would be incinerated on contact with the power-

" I shall leave for now and go to train in the mountains with my brothers and sisters"

*Meanwhile, the party has reached the Flame Wheel's base. It is a tall pagoda-styled building*

Ken: "Here we are. There, at the top floor, is where the Boss is."

Kakoro: "What are we waiting for? Let's go!"

*They break down the door and run in. It's deserted*

Ken: "Huh? Where is everyone?"

*A cage falls from the ceiling, trapping the party*

???: "They're all on the roof, waiting for me."

*Boss Typhlosion emerges from a side room*

Boss: "I hear you're trying to stop me. I just want to give you a fair choice. Leave now, and your lives will be spared. However, if you proceed to the roof to try and fight me, I promise your deaths will be slow and filled with agony. It's your choice."

*Boss begins to walk upstairs*

Boss: "Choose wisely..."

*After Boss is out of sight, the cage returns to the ceiling*

Ken: "We can't leave now. If we give up, the Flame Wheel will take over Rinto! Let's hurry!"

*Everyone runs upstairs, through many empty floors, and emerges on the roof. All the members of the Flame Wheel are gathered around Boss*

Ken: "Boss! No... Not Boss. Typhlosion! Your reign ends here!"

Boss: "I'm sorry, but you've made the wrong choice. Flame Wheels, back away. This fight is mine."

*All the Flame Wheels back away, forming a ring around Boss and Ken*

Boss: "Ken, I always knew you'd betray me. I've been looking forward to this. Flame Wheel!"

*Boss cartwheels toward Ken covered in fire*

*Ken dodges*

Ken: "Fire Spin!"

*Ken releases a whirlwind of fire*

*Boss is hit by the Fire Spin*

Boss: "Hmph! You're stronger than I thought. I didn't think I'd have to do this... Blast Burn!"

*Boss shoots a white-hot fireball at Ken*

*Ken is hit by the fireball. He goes flying across the roof, but is unburned*

Ken: "I've trained for months to minimize the damage from fire attacks. Even a Blast Burn won't hurt me more than a little! Blast Burn!"

*Ken returns fire with another white-hot fireball*

*Boss doesn't even attempt to dodge the fireball. It hits him, but appears to do nothing.*

Boss: "You aren't the only one that has been training, Ken."

*He gets down on all fours and the back of his neck flares up*

Boss: "I know you've heard the rumors. Well, they're all true, as you will soon see."

*The flare around his neck turns white-hot, then begins to sparkle and turn golden*

Boss: "Forbidden Technique! Phoenix Flames: Sacred Fire!"

*Boss breathes a stream of golden flames at Ken*

*Ken is engulfed by the golden flames and falls*

Ken: "Arrgh... You..."

*Boss begins to laugh maniacally*

Boss: "The moment you opposed me, your fate was sealed. Ryu! The plume!"

*Ryu gives Boss the Rainbow Plume*

Boss: "Now, you will witness the fall of Rinto!"

*Boss places the Plume on the ground and breathes Sacred Fire on it. A shaft of rainbow light emerges from it*

Boss: "It has begun. Now, nobody can stop us!"

*From the distance, a second shaft of light rises. A bird shape flies from it toward the pagoda*

Kakoro: "Is that... Ho-Oh!?"

Boss: "Indeed it is, child."

*Ho-Oh flies around the tower once, then lands in front of Boss*

Boss: "Great Ho-Oh, I have summoned you to help me take control of this region. Breathe your divine flames across the land and cleanse it!"

Ho-Oh: "My divine flames are to be used for the purposes of good only. All who attempt to use them for evil will be punished."

*Ho-Oh breathes Sacred Fire on Boss, incinerating him*

Ho-Oh: "Let this be a lesson to the world. Those who attempt to use divine power for evil will be punished."

*Ho-Oh notices Ken, who is horribly burned and unconscious*

Ho-Oh: "Oh, dear. I fear it may be too late for this one."

Kakoro: "No! Please, great Ho-Oh, is there any way to save him?"

Ho-Oh: "There is one way, young Kakoro. Take these ashes and sprinkle them over his body."

*Ho-Oh gestures toward a pile of ashes where Boss once stood*

Ho-Oh: "The ashes from the Sacred Fire have wondrous healing properties. Use them on Ken's body, and he will live. Keep any ashes that are left over, and use them for good."

"It's our only hope..."

*Yuki picks up some of the ashes and sprinkles them on Ken*

"Let's hope it works..."

*The burns on Ken's body disappear, and he wakes up with a start*

Ken: "Wha!? What happened?"

Ho-Oh: "That foolish Typhlosion used my forbidden technique on you and nearly killed you. I have come to right the wrongs caused by the Flame Wheel."

*akumu looks at typhlosion's ashes puzzled*
"Ho-oh... the rainbow plume was supposedly going to allow them to control you"
*akumu stands up and looks at ho-oh*
"is it possible that this was part of his grand plan and that he tricked you into playing your part in it"

*Ho-Oh contemplates this for a moment, then...*

Ho-Oh: "Oh, dear Arceus... It is, in fact, very likely. I saw the few moments before I was summoned through the Plume. I know of the Charizard that handed Typhlosion the Plume, but I don't see him here. Where could he have gone?"

*akumu thinks when there is suddenly an explosion a few towns over*
"Guys there's nothing else to do here come on"
*akumu starts toward the stairs where they collapse leaving us trapped*

Ho-Oh: "Oh, dear. Here, climb on my back. I'll get you down safely."

*Ho-Oh lands on the roof and extends a wing as a ramp up to his back*

Ho-Oh: "Quickly, now! There's no time to waste!"

*Ken and Kakoro climb up onto Ho-Oh's back*

Kakoro: "What are you waiting for? Get on!"
