"Bankai? You think this is my Bankai? Don't make me laugh. This is just the true form of my Shikai. Sakkaku Kitsune, my Zanpakuto spirit, has power beyond most other spirits. My Bankai release is so terribly powerful, Central 46 has outlawed its use anywhere within the Soul Society. I have limiter spells placed on me to restrict my power. Without these limiters, my power easily surpasses even the Captain General's."

"Lord Aisen... Please... be wary... These Reapers... are powerful..."
*Luppi dies*

~He was powerful, but not as strong as that one...~
"Sonico, can you heal this wound?"

"Okay."
~Man, he's scary...~
*uses kido to heal Mura*

"does anyone else find it strange. we've been here not even ten minutes and we've already defeated two arrancars"

"Yes, it is quite strange. Mabey we should be more cautious, everynoe keep your eyes open!"

Rukia: "Hey, Akumu, I've been wondering... How long have you been a part of Twelfth Company?"

"I've been in twelfth company for about 23 years now if you count my time in the world of the living. why did you want to know Rukia? something troubling you?"

Rukia: "Twenty-three years... That would be about the time that I first met Ichigo."

Tsukikami: "Since when are you so nostalgic, Rukia? This isn't like you at all."

Rukia: "I'm worried about Ichigo. Normally, he'd be able to break out of here, no problem. Something must be wrong if he hasn't already jumped into action."

*The team arrives at the building*

Luminosa: "Shall we?"

*The doors open by themselves, and a female Arrancar steps out brandishing a whip with a circular blade on it*

???: "Welcome to Las Noches, Reapers. You're pretty bold, attacking up head-on like this."

Luminosa: "Not another Arrancar... Who are you?"

???: "My name is Cirucci Sanderwicci II. I must warn you, I'm much more powerful than that idiot Wonderweiss was, and although he wouldn't admit it, Luppi's strength was about on par with mine."

*Cirucci scans the group. When she sees Akumu, she gasps.*

Cirucci: "You... Your sword... It's not a normal zanpakuto. That's the weapon of a Hollow! How on earth did you get it?"

"what, this"
*holds out Kuro no yume*
"i got this during a mishap with a hollow, stabbed it with it's own horn."
~she's actually pretty cute, and to think i might have to kill her~

*Cirucci appears troubled*

Cirucci: "So you've discovered the dark secret of the Hollows... Impressive. But I must warn you, Arrancars aren't entirely Hollow, so we don't share that same weakness with normal Hollows."

*she approaches Akumu*

Cirucci: "What was the name of that Hollow?"
~It couldn't be... Could it?~

*looks irritated*
"why are you so interested? We're enemies."
*calms down*
"yet i feel like there's a connection between you, me, and my blade."

*Cirucci nods in agreement*
Cirucci: "There may well be. Please, tell me the name of the Hollow you got your sword from."
~I think I recognize the spiritual pressure emanating from that sword...~

"the name of the hollow was Yume. My sword is Kuro no yume."
*extends blade*
"what business do you have with it."

Cirucci: "I knew it. I just knew it."

*she looks out into the desert*

"Yume... was my sister. We were both killed in a house fire. Aisen found me and turned me into an Arrancar, but he rejected Yume, leaving her to die. And now..."

*brandishes her whip*

"...I'm standing in front of her killer."

*Sheds tear*
"I'm sorry that i am the one who killed your sister. but don't think that means I'm unwilling to fight you."
~i must fight~
"Death in the night Nagai kuro no yume"

"Well, I'm glad you feel that way, because I'm not going to let you leave here alive."

*spins whip around her*

"Rip, Golondrina! (Iron Swallow)"

*bladed iron wings sprout from her back, she grows a tail, her arms grow longer, and her fingers turn to claws*

"Ala Cortadola! (Severing Wings)"

*she detaches the blades from her wings and sends them flying toward Akumu*

*evaporates into shadow and appears behind Cirucci*
"i'm sorry"
*fires cero*

*she quickly returns the blades to her wings and uses them to deflect part of the cero's energy; she is only hit with half the energy*

"I'm impressed. My wings can deflect up to a million reishi of spiritual energy. Your Cero is the most powerful I've ever seen."

*she suddenly disappears and reappears a few yards away*

"Let's see how you handle this! Ala Cortadola Dispersion! (Severing Wings Dispersion)"

*she shoots off the blades again, this time coated in spiritual energy and in all different directions*

*slices through blades*
"it won't be that easy to hurt me"
*attacks with blade repeatedly*

~He sliced my blades that easily!?~

*tries to dodge, but is hit by a few slices*

~That sword... Yume's soul is trapped in it. If I can just break it...~

"I underestimated you. To slice through my wings like that is no easy feat. Guess I won't be needing these anymore."

*the remains of her wings fall off*

"It takes a lot of energy to keep those wings on. Now that they're gone, they can never come back, but I can focus my energy into this! Ala Cortadola Hachador! (Severing Great Ax)"

*she whips her tail around in front of her, and projects a fan-shaped bean of pure energy, which she swings at Akumu*

*slices through akumu fades to black, vanishes, and reappears behind cirucci*
"i didn't want to do this, but this is the only way i can spare you."
*pins cirucci on ground*
"hold still i'm going to make your spirit whole again."

"And why should I trust you? You killed my sister!"

*swings her tail around in front of her and throws Akumu off*

"Ala Cortadola Gradiator! (Severing Great Sword)"

*the fan of energy focuses into a single sword-shaped beam, which Cirucci thrusts at Akumu's head*

~I want to trust you, Reaper. I really do. If you could just do something to prove that I can trust you...~

*dodges attack*
"I didn't want to kill her, i was just defending myself."
*dodges another attack*
"Well, if you don't believe me... Come on out Yume."
*blade transforms into Yume*
