I've decided not to wait, here is my review of the splatterhouse shooter: Splatoon

I opened up the game and was immediately welcomed to the customization screen with a glorious soundtrack. I loved being able to choose between a boy or girl inkling (of which I chose the girl), the skin tone, and the eye color. Those were just the startup customization options, there are many more once you get playing to make them your own. Of course I tried out the main game mode; the online turf war. I got to choose my weapons to match my play style, which I found to be ever changing as I tried out each one. I would win a couple of rounds and I would lose a couple, but whether I won or lost I kept getting drawn in for another match. I don't know if voice chat would hinder or help gameplay but it is enjoyable. I give it a score of 8.5/10

I wasn't too interested in Splatoon at first, but you convinced me to try it out. I managed to catch the tail-end of the last Testfire, and I was impressed. Definitely gonna pick up the game when I get my hands on some money.

My opinion of voice chat in the game: Please, no. You'll get the same kind of problems that FPS games like CoD has: mic spammers, 10-year-olds cursing like sailors, and 25-year-old guys who take the game way too seriously.
