backstory: half roboticized by eggman, helped sonic twice to save his friends
personality: smart, creative, weapon specialist, enigmatic
alignment: tricky (chaos at times, hero at others)

Name: Lucian
Creature: Artificial Hedgehog
Sex: M
Notes: Faint Russian accent

Story: Hedgehog created during the time Robotnik's health was degrading. The hedgehog was able to possess life-giving powers that helped Robotnik live a couple of years longer by correcting his genetic abnormalities. He was created before Shadow. Now he usually live in wide open areas where he relaxes most of the time.
Personality: Unsocial, very soft, compassionate.
Weakness: Too easy to be manipulated. Chaos power can interfere with his powers.
Powers: Able to cure/destroy life (i.e causing/curing diseases, destroying any animate object); able to create artificial light to help the blind see. He could heal himself over time when injured; the time it takes for him to heal is dependent on how severely he is injured, e.g. very slow if weak or mortally wounded.
Alignment: Very lawfully good.

Special features: he has curved spikes on the backs of his arms. He could stab any living being and absorb energy from it, and that can heal Lucian if he gets injured.

Story: She was a close friend of Rouge the Bat before she became a thief. Exposed to the raw power of the Chaos Emeralds, she developed multiple personality disorder in the form of her dark side, Violet. Valentine seeks the Master Emerald to remove Violet from her mind and the world, but Violet has other ideas...

Violet wants the power of the Chaos Emeralds to release her from Valentine's body and give her one of her own. Once she does, who knows what she'll be capable of?

Early morning, quite warm and breezy.

Setting: Large pasture near town.

Lucian walks around in the pasture with the strong winds blowing. He walks west in the pasture until he started to glow bright white on his own. He knew his is in danger since chaos power strips his control over his own powers.

[How... Can this be...? Is there an emerald nearby that I am not aware of...?]

There is no use dimming it unless he runs away from the source. So, he did run towards town.

*akumu steps out into the road*
"what's the rush Lucian"
*akumu put's his hand up to cover his eyes*
"would you mind putting that light out, people are still asleep"

"Well... I can't... It might take a little while for that effect to go away..."

*Light dims a little*

"now that's better. maybe now you can tell me what your rush is."

*Thinks a little...*

"Do you really want to know...? It's a little secretive..."

"that only makes me wan't to know more"
*akumu moves closer*
"just so you know, i'll only keep the secret if it's worth keeping"

*Phariss is hiding in the shadows behind a house. He whispers to himself*

"A secret, huh? I've gotta hear this..."

"Well... Ok..."

*Looks around cautiously...*

"I was in that back pasture quite far from here, when all of a sudden the artificial light came on. I could not control it. I now know from past events that chaos energy, especially emeralds, makes my powers uncontrollable and appear spontaneous."

*Lucian regains control and puts out the white light.*

"ohh... that is a secret worth keeping thanks for getting me involved"
*akumu walks around Lucian once*
"i better get going, you see i am simply one busy man. you must understand"

"Well... See you later... I guess..."

*Runs to the north of the city and to his house*

*Phariss whispers to himself*

"Chaos energy? That means there's an Emerald 'round here! Finally got the drop on it!"

*He runs off in the opposite direction; somewhat carelessly, as he makes quite a bit of noise"

"so you heard everything huh phariss"
*akumu appears behind him*

"Damn it! I really gotta work on my getaways- wait... How'd you know my name?"

"let's just say you owe me a favor and guess what i'm here to collect"
